Tuesday Service 7:00 to 7:30 PM: Be still, and know that the Lord is God" (PS. 46:10). Being still in today's busy world isn't easy--it takes continued effort. Tuesday first service is our time to be still and set at the feet of Jesus. He has many awesome things too say to us, to encourage and affirm us, unfortunately we are moving to quickly to hear! We teach on a variety of Jesus' teachings.
Tuesday Ladies Life Group 7:30 to 8:30 PM: Debbie Hall is building family in the ladies Life Group as they learn together the way God designed women to live. They are learning to become the Godly wives, mothers, and the spiritual ladies God had always intended women to be. With Jesus its never to late to become what we were originally meant to be! God's calling the ladies of the kingdom to come forth, stand up, and make a difference!
Tuesday Men's Life Group 7:30 to 8:30 PM : Men's Life Group. We are on a life journey of discovering God's purpose so we can become the spiritual leaders called us called us to be as men, husbands, and Fathers!
Saturday Night Life Groups 7 PM: Pastor Dennis brings some unique new spiritual insights and revelations to the 12 Step program. Our Saturday night Life Group is a awesome group that feels relaxed and trusting that we have great discussion. All our groups are places you can take our mask off and be our real self.
Sunday Morning Fellowship-coffee-fruit and donuts at 10:00 AM. Prophetic Praise & Worship begins at 10:30--Message by Dennis Hall at 11:00 "Children's Ministry" We have excellent child care for every service. God has called Franky Bryant as our children's minister. She along with her team bring Jesus alive in the hearts of our kids in many creative ways. Some of our children come from broken homes, so they show them extra love and affection, instilling in them the vision that God has for their lives. They also teach them to honor and respect their authorities, beginning with their parents. Our kids know that they are loved and many cry when they have to leave. I wish adults loved church as much! We teach them the love of Jesus, that they are highly favored, and very valuable to God, to us, and to their families. They are the future and we take this responsibility seriously. To best describe The Recovery Church, I have taken some wise words from Pastor/author Charles Swindoll, making reference to Joshua 20, Cities of Refuge: Finding a Refuge: The law of supply-and-demand is something we face every day. Because there are those who need, there must also be those who provide. There are employers and employees. There are counselors and counselees. But it breaks down when it comes to refugees. There aren't enough "refugers" to meet the demand. Back in the days when the Hebrews settled in Canaan, they set up cities of refuge. People who were in dangereven those guilty of wrongdoingcould escape to one of these six cities and find personal relief and refreshment. Don't misunderstand. These weren't sleazy dumping grounds for hardened criminals. These were territories dedicated to the restoration of those who had made mistakes. People who had blown it could flee to one of these places of refuge and not have those inside throw rocks at them. The Recovery Church has taken the traditional Wednesday night church service and combined it with our Tuesday night open share recovery meeting. This has been very successful allowing our church members and recovery group to get acquainted. We get into small groups and discuss questions pertaining to the nights lessons which are taken from the Commands of Christ. It allows closeness, oneness, and the opportunity to communicate the love I believe Jesus wants from us when He said, All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go there and make disciples of all nations.teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age (Matt. 28:18-20). As we journey together and take the time to teach and make disciples we are giving a valuable part of ourselves, our time, to one another. The most precious way to demonstrate our love for others is by giving ourselves. That is the purpose of The Recovery Church, if you do not have a church family, come join us every Tuesday at 7pm, and Sundays 10:30am and 6pm. We have a new church located at 1680 East Beech, for info contact Pastor Dennis Hall 580-606-3784, or go to the web site www.deliveredfrommeth.com. I promise you will be refreshed, encouraged, and leave with a desire to deepen your relationship with Jesus. Everyone in life is recovering, or has recovered from something, and seeking the life and freedom we have in Christ Jesus is the abundant life promised us by Jesus.
